Inspired by the heritage of Palembang’s cuisine “Pempek” background, blending together the nostalgic design whilst encapsulating escapism sense from the city. Natural wood tone framing at the door and windows met with bricks that continued from floor to wall create a sequence of unexpected sense of spaciousness through materials and limited space scale. Coupled with a touch of wooden blinds that creates patches of the shadow reflects into the space.
